Our Story
Heterogenix Technologies Private Limited, founded in December 2025 by Dr. Thangadurai Chinnathambi, started as a Startup with a big vision. Throughout the years, we have been working diligently to grow into a leading provider of innovative solutions in the science and technology industry, delivering excellence to clients around the globe.

Heterogenix Technologies Private Limited is driven by a team of professionals with extensive experience in biological sciences, biotechnology, research, product development, and business development. Our founders firmly believe that meaningful innovation stems from a deep understanding of real-life challenges, allowing us to transform scientific knowledge into practical solutions that enhance everyday life.
Dr. Thangadurai Chinnathambi - Founder
Dr. Thangadurai Chinnathambi is a distinguished biotechnology researcher, innovator, and entrepreneur, backed by a solid academic foundation in biological sciences and biotechnology. He earned his master’s degree from the School of Biological Sciences at Madurai Kamaraj University and completed his Ph.D. at the Centre for Biotechnology, Anna University. His academic journey includes qualifying through national-level examinations and securing research fellowships from the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, where he served as both a Junior Research Fellow and Senior Research Fellow.
His extensive research contributions encompass numerous publications in peer-reviewed international journals and co-inventorship of a United States patent related to the protein engineering of an industrial enzyme. Currently, at Heterogenix, he spearheads the innovation strategy, research, and product development while transforming observed everyday challenges into practical and commercially viable solutions.
Dr. Chithra Chandramohan - Co-Founder
Dr. Chithra Chandramohan holds a Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of Madras and has extensive research experience in molecular biology. Her academic journey, supported by the Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship, has led to contributions in peer-reviewed scientific publications.
In addition to her scientific background, she possesses valuable experience in product sourcing, sales, and customer-focused business activities within the fashion and clothing sector. This expertise is particularly beneficial at Heterogenix, where she plays a critical role in product development, sourcing, market understanding, business operations, and customer engagement. By blending her scientific knowledge with practical commercial experience, she ensures that the company's innovations are not only viable but also aligned with real consumer needs.
